Had anyone noticed how fast Canelo started out against Angulo in their bout just for him to gas after only three rounds of fighting? By the fourth, he started to retreat by picking his spots and resorting to fighting in short bursts and spurts afterwards. Well he cannot afford to do that against Kirkland. He is going to have to fight three minutes of every round because James is definitely bringing it nonstop for the entire fight.

I wouldn't be shocked if Canelo hurts him in the first round and finishes him. I would be shocked if Kirkland lasts more than 5 rounds.

If Kirkland is still with SMS Promotions then I doubt a deal will get made, and I'm assuming that this fight will be on Showtime Championship Boxing and not Showtime PPV. I figure once Kirkland drops out, someone like Joshua Clottey or Vanes Matirosyan will most likely get the fight, I doubt Al Haymon allows Jermall Charlo to take the fight.

Wow, one hell of a fight. Canelo is the most fearless man in boxing besides GGG and Kovalev. If Canelo wins and Cotto wins his next fight, then I imagine there will be a clash between Cotto and Canelo for Cinco de Mayo in 2015.

I honestly doubt that Mayweather will move the date, and I'm sure Cotto will hold out for a month later to do the fight on Puerto Rico Independence Day and I'm sure he'll try to hold out for Madison Square Garden but I think they would end up fighting at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
