You are quite oblivious to the fact how big financially the Khan-Brook fight with a belt on the line would be in UK. Tell me an another fight that makes Brook tons of $?Right now, in August 2014 Khan needs Brook a lot more than Brook needs Khan.
If (and that is a big IF) Brook beats Porter, then I think Brook has options that don't necessarily include Khan.
If Brook loses then there will still be interest in the UK for a non-title fight which would be a very decent payday for both fighters.
Khan needs to shut up, fight better opponents and be more active with his schedule.
If he stopped talking all the time he would be forgotten already.
Sadly, for you and people like you Brook is actually targeting Khan as we speak. The fight has been brewing for years and domestic fights in UK are very well received.
Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) is hoping that a victory over IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) will bring him the prize that he wants most - a domestic super-fight with Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs). Brook will challenge Porter on August 16th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. He doesn't believe Porter is on his level and predicts a stoppage victory. If his outcome proves correct, he feels a fight with Khan, an opportunity that he's chased for years, will finally be in reach.
Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is confident that Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) will make good on his career expectations by defeating Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) for the IBF welterweight title on August 16th from the StubHub Center in Carson, California. For at least two years, Brook has been chasing a high profile domestic showdown with Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs). Despite repeated attempts by Brook and his promoter, Khan has rejected the match. Khan believes strongly that Brook has never beaten a single opponent who was ranked in the top five and refuses to entertain the fight until Brook has actually accomplished something significant.

So it's Thurman's problem that nobody has enough guts to fight him? You're talking about what other boxers gain when fighting, well...what about what Thurman gains? He could gain a lot from beating a big name but they have to get in the ring with him first.
Khan vs. Thurman...unless you're talking about in the UK.Comment

I saw LacedUp's post and went to the next page only to see if somebody beat me to the Jones trilogy suggestion.
