And Brook would be the one with the belt and it would be the biggest fight out there for Khan so why would he fight belt-less no names like Alexander or Thurman?
Do you really want to be still wondering for the next 4 or 5 months why Thurman "hasn't fought anybody"? It's because of stuff like that. You have to look at what Thurman gains and not just at what the champ gains. Besides, Brook's name wouldn't be any bigger than Thurman's even if he does beat Porter.

I dunno, I'm not sold on Porter yet. Maybe I'm wrong, but he's a small dude at 5'5. And he's wild. Brook can be beaten, he's very strong, but pretty slow, and has little head movement. But, I don't think Porter has the style to beat Brook. Hope I'm wrong.

The bookies are heavily favoring Porter.

That's Thurman's problem. It's nobody's duty to try to make that kid relevant.

Brook vs Khan is a fight that could do ridiculous business. Like I said, if you can't comprehend that, then I can't help you.

Well if you haven't been living under a rock you'd know Kell himself is targeting Khan, so your little fantasy of Brook giving Khan the finger is just that.

I know it is hard for some of you to get over that the chinny guy who was supposed to be done after Prescott has come this far that you have people trying to win a belt just to get in the ring with him. It's not me who is saying it have a read:

Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) is hoping that a victory over IBF welterweight champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) will bring him the prize that he wants most - a domestic super-fight with Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs). Brook will challenge Porter on August 16th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. He doesn't believe Porter is on his level and predicts a stoppage victory. If his outcome proves correct, he feels a fight with Khan, an opportunity that he's chased for years, will finally be in reach.

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport is confident that Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) will make good on his career expectations by defeating Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) for the IBF welterweight title on August 16th from the StubHub Center in Carson, California. For at least two years, Brook has been chasing a high profile domestic showdown with Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs). Despite repeated attempts by Brook and his promoter, Khan has rejected the match. Khan believes strongly that Brook has never beaten a single opponent who was ranked in the top five and refuses to entertain the fight until Brook has actually accomplished something significant.

And the winner gets Hatton'd by Mayweather or Pacquiao.
