Fight will resemble the first one, but i think Floyd will do a better job this time due to the fact that the ref will likely control the fight better. Past prime or not, Floyd always had problems dealing with fighters who can offset his lateral movements and cut off the ring, and Maidana is one of those fighters who can do that.

Not really because the first 6 rounds were close.

Floyd pulled away in the second half.

Maidana is going to beat Floyd up Broner style UD.

IF this is the best Garcia can do with Rios At this point of his career. Then he's not that good of a trainer as people think he is. He just has big names under him. Sort of like Roach has big names under his wing also. But I do believe Roach is just a bit better than Garcia.

I though Rios was losing the fight. I also watched Mayweather vs. Maidana today. And of course by the 4th round I was falling asleep. (not talking smack.. but I ALWAYS fall asleep to a Mayweather bout).

Anyhow I don't see why people are so hyped about Maidana vs. Mayweather II. I don't see Robert Garcia doing any better in training his fighters. I don't see him applying anything he might have learned in the first fight with Mayweather.

In the 4 rounds I saw of the first fight today.. I REALLY didn't see Maidana hit Mayweather with ANY clean punches as I thought when I first saw the fight live. I think in 4 rounds he probably hit mayweather with 4 or 5 clean punches. the rest were blocked, missed, or just hit arms and gloves of Mayweather's.

There is no way this next fight is going to be better for Maidana at ALL. It might be for Mayweather. But who knows. Still not worth watching it live in my opinion.

The only difference I see in the next fight is Maidana getting really tired earlier this time around, because since he lost. The pressure is on him to show otherwise.

This place is such a trip!! All of the fatheads who talk about fighters evolving using new methods and techniques....then a guy ACTUALLY, to good effect, uses something interesting and productive, and every FATHEAD who was convinced that human beings evolved in 100 years becomes a critic!

Wow! madianna is a decent pressure guy and Floyd is ready to be pressured. M's team, Garcia and company are right on the money. Floyd thinks he can readjust. madianna is trying to improve so he can bring it...and lets face it this is not a 15 round extraveganza! 12 rounds 3 minutes a piece, this is doable.

We shall see but I think Madianna looks good next time out.

Those masks are a gimmick they dont simulate high altitude training. Not liking his new S&C coach.

I wonder if mayweather is gonna let maidana use the NSAC approved red gloves like his own fighters used them the same night.

Actually his statement is very accurate. Compubox had maidana landing more punches than mayweather for the 1st 6 rounds of the fight. A 117 score is laughable.
