He won't sacrifice power, in fact I think it is a wise move. His punches will come faster and have more sting. And he might be able to land more. I like the idea of coming in lighter and I think it ties in directly and perfectly with his strategy to have more velocity and volume over the course of 12 rounds. The only way it might possibly hurt him is he may not take a shot as good as he did in the first fight but I'm not sure that'll be the case.
Agree with you but at the same time I think that the size advantage was one of the reasons he had the success he did the first time round.
well we shouldn't act like entering the fight a bit lighter than in the first fight would make malignaggi out of him, we'll see it the september 13th, but i think it's a good move
