Sure Fonfora put the blueprint out there. Get pummeled for 9 rounds then come back at the end. Kovalev don't have that kind of heart. He's an ordinary fighter. Stevenson has speed, power, and is a southpaw which can't be duplicated by anybody else in the division. Both fighters took the easier fight. Not entirely Kovalevs fault but it is what it is.

They gave him no choice. The offer ******. 10 to 1 they gave Hopkins more money than that chump change they offered Stevenson. Doesn't matter anyway. The winner of this fight is still ranked where they should be behind Stevenson.

Because Hopkins is 50 and losing rounds to Tavoris Cloud and Karo Murat. Kovalev is a hell of a lot better than those guys.

Only been watching boxing since 2007, but if there's one thing I've learned it's to never bet against Hopkins no matter how much sense it makes. On a side note, Hopkins balls could fight in the strawweight division.

thats exactly the point. They had a fight almost set up, then stevenson out of nowhere backs off the fight and jumps to showtime to fight bhop instead. So im thinking bhop would rather fight the guy that stevenson ducked. Not to mention stevenson didnt look to good against fonfara and got ko'd by darrelll freakin boone. hahahahaha stevenson should retire and go back to canada where he can pimp teenagers and smack them around.
