After Hopkins beats Kovlev, He will unify with Stevenson and become Undisputed. I don't anyone if else has had all the belts in one weightclass, much less did it in two. Already top 5 atg, he will have a chance to knock SRR of the top with this.
To everyone here who thinks Stevenson messed up because he went to Showtime, you're ******. Not only because of what I said above about Hopkins Unifying ( which will sell out in Montreal and more than likely be a PPV), also because, on the off chance that Kovlev wins he will STILL take the fight with Stevenson, and Stevenson will be the A-Side, because Kovleve can't sell out his back yardComment

Didn't know the Lineal and Ring champ had to beg for fights, or ever fought on ESPN. Sounds like you're making up bull to me. And when did Chaves or Ward say they planned on moving up to 175?When he signed with Al Haymon, I said that Adonis Stevenson was the biggest fool in boxing for renegning on the deal to fight Kovalev. Today, I am officially proven right. Hopkins/Kovalev will fight on HBO in November in a fight in which each fighter will earn $2 to $4 million. Stevenson will be out of the ring for at least a year between fights and will come back with a fight on ESPN for a $100,000 purse. Stevenson left $6 to $7 million on the table with his ****** decision. If he had beaten Kovalev, he could have faced Hopkins next followed by (if he won) a possible fight with Chavez Jr. or Ward and he would have earned $6 to $7 million over a two year period.
Instead, he has to now pray that Jean Paschal will fight him in Canada and allow him to make a $700,000 purse before he retires and goes back to pimping hoes on the streets of Canada.

Stevenson looks like a bytch in all of this...
Ducked kovolev, and the Adonis fanboys claimed it was a better business move to fight Hopkins on showtime, lmao. Now Hopkins is fighting kovolev... Makes Adonis look so badComment

Stevenson and Hopkins would have fought next in a big money fight in Canada except that Kathy Duva had to go running to the lawyers.
Can't really blame Stevenson for this I don't think.Comment
