I only want to see it if Cotto is planning on defending his MW title. If not, then I don't care. I want to see Golovkin get his shot at the true championship. Most people already believe he's the best MW, and have for a while now.
Fighting and losing would be more respectable than sitting at home crying every time GGG is mentioned like Ward does.
Unfortunately, GGG is on record as saying he will fight anyone from 154-168. GGG is going to have to live up to that. Unless of course the rules are different for GGG when he runs his mouth as opposed to say, well you know where I'm going with this.
If he Joins Al Haymon and Mayweather Promotions. He will be fine. If he joins Top Rank, he will be alright. Top rank will go forward with him as their cash cow after Pacq retires. Mayweather Promotions will be home to all the Haymon fighters soon.

I agree that if Cotto is going to fight a middleweight then it may has well be GGG. But personally I think he should vacate and go back to 154lb
