Unfortunately, GGG is on record as saying he will fight anyone from 154-168. GGG is going to have to live up to that. Unless of course the rules are different for GGG when he runs his mouth as opposed to say, well you know where I'm going with this.

If he Joins Al Haymon and Mayweather Promotions. He will be fine. If he joins Top Rank, he will be alright. Top rank will go forward with him as their cash cow after Pacq retires. Mayweather Promotions will be home to all the Haymon fighters soon.

Ward won't be a cash cow IMO. Style isn't appealing. Pacs is/was. He's stuck with Goosen though, I hear the contract is legit and Ward will just continue to lose in court.

HBO doesn't want to risk ward, GGG and Kovalev against each other right now. ward is out and frankly-he is better than both ggg and kov but he draws less and his fights cost more.

GGG just re-upped with HBO so quillin is out.

Chavez and Froch can make more with each other than with GGG.

IMO GGG's best bet is to take short money and fight froch in England. GGG's path to the top is going to be like Hagler's-LONG.

If HBO really wants to make GGG a star NOW then pony up $12-15 mil and get cotto to fight him in Dec. The reaity is GGG is not a ppy fighter as of now. He may never be.

You're exactly right. Fighting Ward and losing a UD will not make him a PPV star. Only beating Cotto or Canelo does that. And that's beating them by stoppage as well.

Even if that fight could be made, which it cant at the moment, it obviously wouldn't be for the lineal title since thats something Cotto owns.

I'm sorry but the lineal Middleweight titles is one of the few we can trace back over s decade. It would be an absolute shame to see this title passed around between welterweights and super welterweights, while the #1 MW challenger is on the outside looking in.

I have no problem whatsoever with Cotto fighting at 154. That's his right. My problem isthat if he doesn't plan on defending his 160 titles against legit MWs, he needs to drop his titles and move down in weight simple as that. It's unfair to the enter MW division for one guy the hold the lineal hostage by not fighting MWs.

I think that fight will absolutely happen. Maybe end of next year or so. It's not like Ward is some PPV star himself. He needs to get his house in order and get active against big names as well.
