Why fans argue in favor of ppv is mindboggling to me. Who cares which fighters or what matchups are "worthy" or "deserving" of ppv. PPV is for suckers. And apparently, so many boxing fans enjoy being suckers. People should be boycotting each and every single ppv in order to end this ****** scam, instead of clamoring for more "ppv fighters" or "ppv matchups". Besides, ppv fights suck. They bear an inverse effect to entertainment value. Goes to cheesy decision every single time.

Please no more PPV. PPV fighters end up only fighting twice a year, I'd rather see Golovkin fight 4 times in Monaco than 2 times on PPV.

by comparison, Ward-Dawson was also on regular HBO, and it only sold 7611 tickets in Ward's backyard. GGG-Geale sold 8532 tickets at MSG.

HBO viewers for Ward-Dawson was 1.3 million, which is likely less than GGG just did vs Geale, considering GGG-Stevens did 1.4 million.

Ward adds nothing that would make the fight a PPV......

PPV and this guy doesn't go together . Maybe triple g vs bum of the week probably but he's no PPV sale. The guy is buying into the hype that he's on that level and tbh the guy should still be on Friday night fights. I still can't dig up a fighter he's beat that was.a household name. I see another Lucas Matthysse in the making if he ever gets the ball to fight Andre Ward. ... But we all know he'll never sign that contract. ......

who cares if GGG is ppv or not? I think I actually saw someone post that GGG should not be ppv cos they didn't want to pay $70 for a fight that's over in less than 10 mins.

Go to the pub and watch.

all i want to see are the fights.

i reckon canelo will take GGG on once he beats Cotto.

And Andre Ward, as much as I like him, will NEVER be on PPV...his fights are boring and he brings no fans to the table. Why would they fight him for less then they could get fighting easy fights with Cotto or Chavez or Canelo. Ward could easily outbox GGG, those other guys would get destroyed.
