I see another Lucas Matthysse in the making if he ever gets the ball to fight Andre Ward. ... But we all know he'll never sign that contract. ......

GGG showed he can't fill up an arena without a marquee opponent. He gets great ratings on free TV. As of now it doesn't appear paying customers will support his fights in masse.

The best thing for GGG in terms of building him to ppv would be a Froch or Ward fight. Both fights, whether on Free or PPV would be supported by a 24/7. That format would allow people to really get a sense of GG's personality and may connect him to more mainstream fans. Those fans surely wouldn't be turned off by his fighting style.

Unless of course he can get a Cotto or Canelo ppv fight, which don't seem to be in the near future.

Why would he go up and fight guys who bing nothing to the table? Neither Froch or Ward bring any fans!
He needs to fight Canelo Cotto or mayweather To get a strong following

GGG doesn't bring enough for them. He's unfortunately right in the middle. I disagree about Froch.

I think that's a big fight and the right fight for GGG now. I think GGG should take short money and go to England for that fight.
