What's not happening that people don't seem to realize is Pac is not moving up to 154 to fight Canelo or GGG and Canelo is not moving up to 160 to fight GGG and GGG is not moving up to 168 to fight Ward. People need to stop dreaming.

Completely agree. I see no problem
Cotto looked sensatinal against Martinez to become the lineal champion at 160, this fight will be huge.
If he doesn't want to fight, simple, just kneel before GGG and accept that he's the better fighter. and go back down to 154.
That way he wont fight bs catchweights with titles on the line that dont even belong on that weightclass.Comment

I say you want to call out the King? "Let's make it Happen" but only at 155 Ibs. He's not calling out JCC, Canelo Gayweather, he's calling out a blown up 160 lbs fighter that has no business being up there but he is..So let's make it happen at 155 anywhere in the ***ing world and I like my chances against the great GGG..All of this reminds me of the look on the faces of the haters had when Garcia whooped Lucas Matthysse's ass..The same thing..That's not how the business of boxing works. Both are title holders and a unification is a natural step in the right direction. And as long as GGG is not some 20-1 underdog and clearly he is not, and he is perceived as a huge threat, GG does not have to fight anyone else to "qualify". Both bring a lot to the matchup. And Canelo has clearly indicated he is not moving up soon and unless it's Floyd vs Cotto, GGG is a solid option.Last edited by PRPOWERPUNCHES; 07-28-2014, 11:28 AM.Comment

155? Na man, word ruin the victory if Cotto wins. 160 or bust.I say you want to call out the King? "Let's make it Happen" but only at 155 Ibs. King Cotto is the BOSS and the A side and GGG is the B side.. Cotto calls all the shots my friend.. Its the price you pay when coming up the ranks..Cotto will be just fine withouit fighting GGG and you don't hear Cotto calling him out. So if he wants to really fight Cotto? They can do it at 155 or nothing..

Ward?? He had 2 fights since the end of 2011! His issues with his promoter are causing him to become a boxing non-entity. He is only a big draw in Oakland & that's probably fading. So who's left @ 168? Froch? He's only big in the U.K. Abraham? He's an exposed fighter who will likely stay within the confines of Europe, where he still has a following. No one else @ 168 is ranked high enough to even consider to make a big fight. Cotto @ MW is the biggest payday for GGG right now, period. Yet Cotto is scheduled to face the much larger JCCJR (according to boxrec), who may effectively end his career.I totally agree. Perhaps GGG is pricing himself out of these so called named fighters. IMO I dont think GGG has enough on his resume to say what he desire. GGG looks amazing with these KO's, but he's not on Ward's level. Abel knows it and so does GGG... The bigger names are at 68. Bigger name comes with bigger payday. GGG is 32 yrs old and is not getting younger
