That hate for the kid is deep. He didn't respect his opponents power so he took risks..somehow that means he has no defense. If he fights defensively and doesn't get his KO then he's a fluke. He can't win with some but let him keep winning he might convince some and convert them. Him and Roy in their prime would've been one hell of a fight.

Lol what hate bro I never said Geale had no defense I said he got careless which he did because he traded right hands with Golovkin and was wide open. I think Daniel Geale is a good boxer he had very good movement and he was slipping punches well he is a former unified champ afterall I think it could have been a better fight is all im saying but the result is final and as far as the opinion on Golovkin he is a fan friendly fighter with a good punch but still hasnt been completely tested to call him the greatest middleweight is an insult to boxing in general because he doesnt have the credentials yet maybe someday very possible he is a good fighter but he needs some high profile fights first

"And he’s got a style that nobody will beat him at 160"

C'mon now Shaw. GGG is definitely a very good fighter but I just don't understand why people still continue to talk about how it's impossible to beat certain fighers. He's been in boxing long enough to know It doesn't matter how good you are nobody is unbeatable. In boxing you're only as good as your last fight so if GGG struggles or even takes a loss in his next fight people like Shaw will be nowhere to found.

... Exaggeration -- I would have easily picked Martinez against Golovkin, like 4-5 years ago...

This g guy reminds me of Lucas Matthews. Sooner or later he'll run up on a Danny Garcia type guy who will school him with the complete boxing package. Right now his team is supplying him with nobody's to boost his name and try to make money off him. I even read where they even think he's the a side of a Ward fight. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA. GTFOOH with that BS please. When this kid goes through the type of competition Ward has maybe in about 5-6th years he could talk. But for now the guy needs to stay away from the dope he's been smoking. .......

Average Fighter Competing In The Weakest MW Divison In History

The truth of the matter is Golovkin is not that good he, has simply been blessed with the good fortune of coming along in the weakest MW division in the history of the sport. Hopkins era used to be the weakest but golovkins even beats his era. Geale I felt really wasn't going to be a real challenge, he was to small and frail and I felt as soon as ggg connected solid he would crumple and he did. And for shaw to suggest that ggg is the best MW he has seen is ridiculous Ill run off a short list of MW who would have soundly beaten him Marvin Hagler would have punished and stopped him to skilled, versatile, tough and durable for ggg, The old hopkins would have roughed him up and beat him. Roy Jones would have boxed circles around him. Carlos Monzon would have been to tough and relentless for him. Jame Toney would have completely outboxed him just to name a few.

One other thing I feel needs to be addressed is the possible use of PEDs russian athletes have a history of juicing especially their amateur athletes and russians have it down to a science because they have been using them for so long they know how to avoid detection. No one has ever tested ggg for PEDs and in my opinion he needs to undergo thorough testing just to clear that up and remove any doubt because I'm sure if he keeps winning eventually he will accused of illegal drug usage, he needs to be tested to prove he is not using performance enhancing drugs.

Amen to that, you got that right, a complete hype job that will eventually be exposed, but the problem is I'm not sure there is anyone in the MW division that can do it. I think he will ultimately need to go to 168 at which point i think he will be forced to face fighters that will find him out.
