Lol @ Allan Green. Green would be about the 9th best fighter on GGG's record.

I'm not on the bandwagon or anything cause I remember Ouma giving Golovkin a hard time back in Panama a few years back and he was a natural 154 pounder, Rosado did some work too and hes a 154 as well but one thing is for sure at 160 Golovkin does have solid power he KOed Bute in the Amateurs with 1 punch and he has a good amount of boxing experience in general so he is not only a good puncher but he knows how to box and I think in a few years he will have acquired a good resume. To call him the greatest middleweight ever Gary Shaw is ******ed, I understand its not his fault no one really wants to fight him but hes still unproven P4P. James Toney, RJJ, Hopkins are all P4P proven and multiple division champs that all had success at middleweight and way better resumes.

Middleweight is not as stacked as it used to be, the only good fight is Quillin but judging from his last few fights I think GGG could take him with ease although if Cotto vacates I wouldn't mind seeing Golovkin unify with Rubio everyone will say its a bum fight but at least Rubio will come to fight don't forget he took another power punchers 0 as well and has shown a good chin at middleweight. We will truly find out what Gennady has when he goes up in weight like all the other great middleweights did.

As far as Miranda vs GGG lol I mean I am still a big fan of Pantera he is a warrior and he always came to fight, but at 160 he was a crude Colombian brawler that had a nasty right hand and a lot of determination but not much technical skills. GGG had a great amateur pedigree and beat many top professional contenders along the way, he would counter Miranda and put him on his back quicker than Bute did and thats just real talk.
Good post. Just one thing, Rubio has that interim WBC and is in a position to extort Cotto. AFAIK he was in the running for both the Proksa and Rosado GGG fights (frontrunner for Rosado) and didn't really want anything to do with it. Now the GGG opponnt money is a getting better so I wouldn't totally exclude it, but he's well aware of the risk and IMO most likely case scenario is it goes like the Pavlik fight, with Rubio just trying to last the distance.

Well maybe iam judging green based on his competion. I think he is on the same level as the 3 guys you mention.. green had more potential to be a breakout star, maybe alot of rhe reason why he never really brokeout was because of his health issues.

But miranda(pre pavlik) vs ggg would have been spontanious combustion!! Lol

Maybe he would ko miranda that way but ggg would have to take risks and with a guy like miranda you have to worry about the incoming.

The Pavlik fight was Rubios first title fight and I think it just got to him and well at that time Pavlik was unified champ and still a big hard hitting middleweight he should have never fought Hopkins that fight made him look real bad but at middleweight he was still a force. I know Rubio been KOed before I think the Jantuah KO is one of the best left hook KO's i've seen lol but I still believe he can give a good fight to GGG, Chavez was 190+ in the ring with him and he still put up a fight, he also handled Lemieuxs power and ended up winning I think he is an experienced veteran that also has good power so I wouldnt count him out one thing is for sure he would give a much better fight than Geale and Macklin and if he did get KOed he would last longer then both of them combined and would be Gennadys best opponent to date.

Me too Geale was making GGG miss pretty bad at one point and I think he just got careless didnt respect Gennadys power and tried to trade with GGG already not respecting his power either.

If he would of tried to box a little more we might have had a better fight, but thats boxing with one punch power lol. I think someone with good defense and a respectable punch can outbox GGG he is not lighting quick or anything he just puts his punches together well with good timing and hits like a Light Heavy weight if someone can make him respect their power then they might have a good chance of pulling the upset I just dont see too many people at middleweight that can do that at the moment besides Rubio or Quillin.
