You can only rank fighters once there careers are said and done, however, IMO.. golovkin is easily the #1 middleweight in the world atm.
If there was a DREAM fight that could happen (which it won't) I'd love to see Mayweather vs. Golovkin @ 160lbs.. that would be an astonishing feat if mayweather could pull it off.
@160..why would you give the challenger all the advantages? I he wants to battle an ATG, it has to be on more favorable terms for Floyd.. With all the bashing, that's how it's always been, The man gets to dictate most of the terms

GGG has power and a chin. But he puts tremendous pressure on his opponents as well. I think he is a great talent. Is GGG in the same class as Nunn, McCallum, Benn, let alone Toney, Hopkins or RJJ? No. But that doesn't make him a bum does it?

I think he can get much, much better very quickly as he fights better and better quality opposition. Everyone is mocking Gaele - but that's because we're raising the bar. He's no longer an overhyped bum and is now being compared to far higher class of fighter.

I think GGG is light-years ahead of Pavlik and would take out Jermain Tayler. He is probably the best middleweight since Hopkins. A fight with Martinez (who I was a big fan of) would have been great match-up. A year ago I thought the advantage was all Martinez - now I think it would be a toss-up.
When he fights a guy with skills, you let me know. He has not fought a true threat yet.

I agree but unfortunately 3G doesn't have competition that would make his resume HOF/ATG status

People keep mentioning Hopkins. Hopkins recently called out Floyd, you would think he would want a go at the massive overhyped GGG.

Shaw is older than I am so The notion he actually thinks GGG is better at MW than Hagler, Roy, Bhop, McCallum, Iran Barkley, Toney or Monzon is preposterous. Nunn, Sturm, Jermain Taylor, Duran, SRL, Sergio and Pavlik all have better MW wins than GGG.

That said, we all are entitled to our opinion.

If he would of tried to box a little more we might have had a better fight, but thats boxing with one punch power lol. I think someone with good defense and a respectable punch can outbox GGG he is not lighting quick or anything he just puts his punches together well with good timing and hits like a Light Heavy weight if someone can make him respect their power then they might have a good chance of pulling the upset I just dont see too many people at middleweight that can do that at the moment besides Rubio or Quillin.
ahahahaahahahhahahahahahhahahaahhahahahahahahahaha ,he made miss him so bad that the fight ended in less than three rounds...wow you are a genius!!!

I think GGG is the best Middleweight since Hopkins left for sure.
