I noticed Kellerman wasn't on his game all night. Like he was trying to commentate but just couldn't quite get there most of the time. So maybe he just spaced out. Or maybe a director was telling him in his earpiece to avoid Geale. Maybe alotta things... but that clip of Geale leaving the ring, as an explanation why Kellerman didn't interview him... that was bogus a he!!.

And another thing, yes all commentators will try to make the network's star fighter look better than he is, but HBO is a he!!uva lot more prone to do that than Showtime. Not that GGG isn't the goods, but the 'too slick' commentary is almost always from HBO.

I lost it last night when GGG said "guyyyzzz", I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing.

It is one of those fights where I say: Glass Chin > Glass Heart.

The best case scenario would have been Max giving Gaele a nonverbal signal of "Give me one minute to wrap this up"

When Golovkin started drifting away from the questions, he should have brought Geale in there to talk about Golovkin or at the very least directed his questions to the translator to Golovkin's left side to get more appropriate answers instead of 'it's good, that's good, this is a fight, this not game.'
Lol...that's MOST of the guys who are interviewed after fights...even the ones that speak English.

:interviewer: This was a tough opponent, but you made it look easy tonight, tell us what did you see in your opponent?

boxer: I wanna thank God, without God....blah blah blah...thanks Al Haymon, my promoter, Manager

How were you able to make this fight look as easy as you did? What did you specifically do

well when you have god on your side, you win the fight in the gym

                    etc...

Post fight interviews are a waste of everyone's time. I never understand why people can't answer the questions. At least Golovkin is trying.

It would have been good to hear from Geale, it would have been smart for HBO to go to Geale, who seems like a good fighter, probably would have had high praise for GGG.

When a fighter can't walk a straight open path and requires one of his cornermen to help stabilize him and push him forward towards the locker room the last thing he should be doing is an interview. Geale was fked up. All the respect to Geale but he was fked up after that last knockdown.
Geal did appear to be stumbling back to the dressing room. He likely didn't want to wait around to be interviewed because he needed to sit or lie down.
