your fighter got KOd and didn't wanna talk about it
Geale lost his legs and balance... He said to the ref that he can't take anymore -- he needed a close medical examination.

With all due respect, it was quite apparent that Golovkin only half understood everything Kellerman was asking. He even responded once or twice with answers that had zero to do with the questions being asked. When Golovkin started drifting away from the questions, he should have brought Geale in there to talk about Golovkin or at the very least directed his questions to the translator to Golovkin's left side to get more appropriate answers instead of 'it's good, that's good, this is a fight, this not game.'

Actually that's half of what happened. He said in the post-fight that he never told the referee anything because he had no idea where he was. He was so dazed that he didn't even realize the referee was talking to him and was shaking his head to clear the clouds, but we never knew any of that because he was never interviewed.

sounds like shaw is being a crybaby over nothing.

            1. HBO told geale to go over to the interview... so him and shaw didnt go there themselves, they had to be brought over.

            2. its normal for fighters that need to go to the hospital to leave early with no interview, if geale needs to go, then no big deal, go... thats what the post fight press conferences are for.

            3. geale still left while kellerman was STILL interviewing GGG... its not like they stopped the cameras while geale was there without interviewing him... maybe kellerman simply wasnt done yet with GGG?

            4. shaw can stop being a god damn crybaby

I've heard some of the best comments ever from the loser. Tex Watson after being told he didn't have to go looking for the guy, "I feel like I just ran my ass off". One guy after being down three times asked, "what knock down?". People want to know, how he looks, how he speaks, in the ring, if possible. I've seen plenty of interviewers give the loser a chance to congratulate the victor at least.

That was hilarious, I always enjoy the awkward interviews of GGG but we have to understand he is still learning and he has at least tried to make the effort to learn the language unlike many, many other professional boxers who reside in USA.

A referees job I always assumed was to be able to look for things in a fighter after they get hurt and to see a fighter shaking his head like that...
He looked like a beaten man he wasn't winning any rounds and he was just being systematically shut down.
Perhaps the referee did Geale a favour because If he did continue after that extremely hard knock-down who knows what would have followed with the next barrage of punches.

I don't see what is the big deal though the winner always gets interviewed first regardless of the dialect between them Geale showed disrespect to the fans of the show by not waiting his turn.

HBO played Geale for a fool man, that's not right.
