If you check the footage, you will see that the translator was translating to Golovkin from behind him as Max was questioning him. Wouldn't it have been rude for Kellerman to simply turn away from GGG and interview Geal while he was still trying to answer him? I believe Gennady is trying to appeal to the American market by not speaking through his translator, but his English is still very limited.

My thing is, HBO could've interviewed Geale in the locker room, like they've done in the past. We've seen Alvarado get beat half to death by Ruslan, and they broke their neck to interview him...even though he looked like Shrek and was probably just as woozy as Geale.
I love those classic GGG interviews, but c'mon now, as Shaw mentioned, Geale was pushed as GGG's biggest test yet, so why not show him some type of respect?
I thought it was sour g****s on Geale's end, but the explanation from Shaw, makes waaaay too much sense. Max was about to wet his pants during that interview, but it's fun to hear GGG's broken English, lolComment

The reason they did not go to the dressing room is they had to keep banter going. They could not send Max to the dressing room as there would have been 5 minutes of silence. They only had a 2 man crew working that night as Roy was in Latvia and Andre is in Bolivia(n)Comment
