its not dissapointment towards algeiri, the guys story is amazing - he started kickboxing, turned to boxing for more money, got 15k last year vs taylor then 150k vs ruslan and now 1.5mil vs pacquaio

the guy showed heart and confidence in his style and skills vs ruslan despite never fighting a guy of that calibre in the boxing ring before

its mostly bob arum and roach which the criticism should be directed to

arum gives the options, roach chooses the opponent, pacquaio does whatever roach tells him to do

      - you agree algeiri does not deserve the fight given his resume
      - there is no way he gets a decision in macau and he cant knock pacquaio out

so what is the point of the fight lol
If Pac had better options and chose Algieri, I would be unhappy with that, but there is nobody else to fight.

I said Algieri hasn't really 'earned' his shot, but I've said on here multiple times, I don't care about that stuff. I care about how good/competitive the fight's gonna be.

Algieri will get a decision if he wins the fight. Not sure what the location has to do with anything. It's not Pac's hometown. He's obviously the A side but let's not forget the first Bradley fight.

theres no way they score against pacquaio in macau lol, no way at all
        Interesting take.

They don't score against Floyd in Vegas too.

Good and Intriguing fights are 50-50 fights this fight is a 90-10 in Favour of Pac and is a cherry pick ,so by no means a good fight .

          Ps: I'm not watching.

Algieri is the best of the worst lot available.

The one thing I'm not happy with about this fight is that it's not at 140 for Algieri's title, Pac can definitely still make 140 easy.

Floyd Maidana is not 50-50. Floyd will take the rematch 9-3 or even 10-2 so is that a good fight?

One good win in a lower weight class isn't enough. There are probably 10 or so more deserving, more proven guys at 147.

Floyd is not fighting someone at ''catchweight'' with mere 8 KO'es coming off a ''Dodgy'' win, Maidana has over 85% KO ratio and put on a great performance in the first fight also is a Solid WW with power, also he gave Floyd massive trouble in the first fight. He deserved the rematch.

and please don't try to compare Algeri with Maidana now, Maidana would probably Knock him out before 6 and Maidana would probably knocked Pac out too.

Pac how ever could have fought Marquez,Khan,Guerrero,Alexander and a lot of other guys, this definitely is a cherry pick, Algeri doesn't possess anything which makes me think he can give Pac any sort of trouble Maidana atleast has KO power, the fact that this fight's happening in China makes things ever Worse for Algeri.
