You do know that he means "intelligence" as in boxing knowledge, right?

There should be a documentary about pure boxers: "How to appreciate the Sweet Science".

Quote "It wasn't anything like Floyd Mayweather-Victor Ortiz."

I don't agree with this statement, Mike Coppinger. It was exactly like what happened in the Mayweather-Ortiz fight, the opponent was sucker punched.

Was it legal? Of course. Was it the right thing to do? I don't think so. Just because you can freely do something means you should do it. If you're a club fighter fighting in ESPN this (sucker punching) may be acceptable, but when you're fighting at the highest levels of the sport, this is not.

No doubt Rigo has real talent. I hope this is the last time he sucker punches someone. He could have knocked out this guy without resorting to sucker punching. If he did that, most boxing fans would not have left with a sour taste in their mouths. Having the mentality of winning at all costs, even at the expense of good sportsmanship, rarely helps a fighter gain new fans, only more critics.

YEAH..... It's GGG and Kovalevs fault that Rigo can't get any fights. wtf is wrong with you. You're by far one of the absolute worst and annoying posters on this site. I have no idea who made you green, but if I had enough green.... I would send your ass to oblivion with negs

and you have the nerve to call somebody else ignorant....... Ha
Another dumb b1tch that thinks I or anyone else with a life gives a rat's ass about rep power.

Apparently, the concept is too complicated for yo b1tch ass to digest. So I'll simply it for yo dumbass. GGG and Kovalev aren't THEE reason why Rigo can't get fights. Its ****** f.uckz like you that can only appreciate brawlers and KO artists, and don't support technical genius, that makes it damn near impossible for a guy like Rigo to get fights or on TV. And its ****** f.uckz like you that just recently started following boxing that are the reason for it. 10-15yrs ago it wasn't like that. Everybody loves a brawl. Everybody loves KOs. But real fight fans appreciate ALL styles. Is that ABC enough for you ****** ass b1tch?

i cant stand all you pretentious c*ck sucking "true" boxing fans or "real" boxing fans who look down on fans who prefer action and entertainment over "sweet science" gibberish aka floyd vs baldomir aka boxing mastery and strategy of wladimir, aka cuban pitty pat amateur style.

Sports at the end of the day is entertainment. People turn on their televisions because they want to be entertained. Nobody wants to see a midget version of andre dirrell.

This isnt the 40s and 50s where boxing and baseball were king. Its 2014.
You're competing with the internet bro. cable packages that have over a million channels. MMA, 24 hr news, reality tv, downloading movies that are still in theaters for free, tv series that have huge cult followings. There is so much more crap for people to do and occupy themselves today than back when boxing is king.

Part of a boxer's job is to entertain the people. Tailoring your style to be more exciting is part of the job. How you fight is self promotion.

If Rigo is such a BOXING GOD, WHY CANT HE DOMINATE WHILE THROWING MORE PUNCHES AND DO LESS RUNNING???? If floyd can do it, why cant Rigo?

You can blame bob arum and top rank all you want, but if Rigo doesnt change his style to be more entertaining, it doesnt matter who promotes him, what channel he fights for, nobody will watch that running cuban amateur style. Rigo better talk to Floyd or Broner so he can augment that style with a fake villain wanksta persona if he wants to stand a chance of having a boxing career.

First of all.... You're talking to the wrong person. Because I like GGG and Kovalev, I am automatically a "I only support brawlers, technical fighters suck!" boxing fan?

Second of all you just called GGG and Kovalev brawlers. That isn't true you pea brained maggot

GGG andd Kovalev ARE fantastic technical boxers.... they just happen to have KO power. wtf is wrong with you?

And you're randomly saying I don't appreciate alll boxing styles..... Again, you have me confused with someone else you dunce. NONE of my favorite boxers are brawlers. And the two guys who you keep mentioning aren't brawlers so I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about

                  Lastly........

In the last five years or so, basically during the height of the Floyd-Manny nonsense, several casual fans became hardcore followers because they were caught up in that drama. We've seen viewership of guys like GGG and Kovalev reach near record highs. And these morons that deepthroat them don't have the boxing IQ to appreciate a guy like Rigo. Who on his worse day has more talent and skill in his pinky toe than either of those ass clowns. And what's worse is that these new aged imbecile hardcore followers applaud guys like Rigo and Ward being ducked by lesser fighters who happen to be more entertaining to the ignorant, uneducated hardcore followers of today. Ten years ago, GGG would have to see Ward, especially after agreeing to fight Chavez Jr at 68. Ten years ago, guys like Santa Cruz, Mares, Loma and anyone else would have had to see Rigo, and hardcore fight fans would have demanded it. But that day is gone. And those ignorant f.uckz that infest sites like this one are gonna ruin this great sport with their idiocy. I mean seriously. Rigo is probably the best fighter in the world and potentially one of the best ever. And not only can he not get fights. He can't even get his fights on TV. And ****** f.uckz, like the ones that infest this site applaud and think that's a good thing. Disgusting to say the least.
