About 3 posters have been trying to explain that to you but you dont seem to get it
Fact is though instead of arguing til the cows come home it should be interesting to see how he does against Fury...Fury has skills and if he decides to take some risks and go after Vlad we will learn a lot.
I would have tremendous respect if Fury gets knocked on his ass going for it, as opposed to what jennings did.

It doesn't suit my agenda to rubbish Fury, I just wish he had of faced Pulev, a win for either Pulev or Fury and then ultimately losing to Klitschko then appears Wlad has a better win on his résumé than simply beating them as an undefeated untested challenger. It is an issue throughout boxing, not in heavy alone with all the fragmented belts and titles its a joke. Fighters rewarded for avoiding the tougher challengers. Do I rate Fury particularly highly, I don't feel we've had chance too !
Do I feel Fury is deserving ? Yes, absolutely. After Pulev and Povetkin who else is there for Wlad to fight, only Stiverne, Fury and Wilder, the other guys like Ortiz, Parker, Martin and Joshua are far from ready. They can wait, Wlad ain't going no place.
On topic of the fight, from what I have read I hear Fury has shed nearly forty pounds, that in itself I believe tells us his game plan, and contrary to what Peter would have us believe I expect with Fury being so light he will come with the same plan he had vs Johnson, stick and move, with his weight being relatively low in the 215-220 pound region I really don't believe he will have power to be concerned about and intends to fight at a high pace for 12 rounds like versus Johnson. His power IMO is already questionable. Do I expect this fight to go the distance, no. Do I expect Fury to stop Wlad, again, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

So called "fans" like Easy Work & ThatLeftaMarc do Wlad no favours.
If Wlad wins, rather than it being celebrated as one of Wlad's best ever victories against a massive, unorthodox, in his prime boxer like Fury, they'll encourage other casuals that Fury was never any threat, and was a fat bum.
There's a reason why this fight is generating so much excitement, even old school Wlad guys like Freedom & Weltz are excited about this fight & give Fury a chance.
*edit* Obviously Wlad is a heavy favourite, it's completely understandable considering his achievements and longevity. However Fury is the biggest threat he's faced for a long time, and if he comes through it, then imo he's cemented himself as one of the finest HW boxers of all time.Last edited by removed; 07-15-2015, 03:25 PM.

All the Wlad hardcore keep harping on about how Wlad is a different animal now yet spectacularly fail to grasp (or just plain ignore) the possibility that the same is true of the much younger Fury. They're both significantly different fighters from a few years ago; only Fury, by dint of his age, has shown a more drastic improvement in a shorter time. Wlad's had a longer time to mature.
Bringing up the Sanders, Brewster or Cunningham fights is pointless at this stage. Neither fighter is the same as they were back then.
