With the view that should he have some success, he might open up some more after rounds.
The strategy is doomed to fail as he discovers Wladimir has an answer for anything Fury can bring and then, his entire strategy will break down anyway once he feels the power.
Should he go for it early at any stage, he gets knocked out sooner than expected.
I suspect all of team Fury know this anyway and I expect Fury to try to employ measured boxing.
Given the parameters of both boxers, it will still be an exciting fight where defences will be constantly breached.

Please provide link.
its ironic because Lewis was trained by Stewart to do so many things, while he basically taught Vlad to tighten up his punches and to hold when he got in trouble. The proof is in the pudding....watch Lewis as he is assaulted by Briggs in there fight, he never panickes, he defends very well before returning fire and fininshing it. Vlad, by comparison panicks. when he was seriouslt attacked by Sanders he folded. Stewart knew this and taught him to grab...Its in the film.

He is slightly longer, faster and sharper skilled and more disciplined than Lennox, kind of like a slightly improved version.
It is still something close to a 50/50 though.
Both boxers only ever really lost by flukes but Wladimir had really no troubles, just total dominance otherwise but Lennox often found himself in trouble (as against Briggs, Mercer etc) and unable to do in opponents that Wladimir would simply destroy (like MAvrovic for example).
It's clear.
You are a 5th generation pedigree NUT BAG!

I know you don't really believe your own BS!
Wlad could shake off Fury's shots undefended, if Fury takes a single flush big shot from Wlad, it's over and you know it!!

Wladamir has a better jab and is slightly cleaner, lewis has the advantage everywhere else
I like how he's also "slightly longer" with a 3" reach disadvantage

[QUOTE=billeau2;15924923]How do you figure this junior? Vlad never counterpunches....
how exactly will Fury opening up cause him to get koed?
Vlad uses his reach and keeps his jab going. what gets guys in trouble is when they try to chase him down, they get hit in the gaps coming fowards. Other guys stand still....
Vlad is right there for Fury to hit, as Fury is for Vlad, they have similar reach.
You are talking about the guy who has hardly ever been hit his entire career of 70 fights!
Again, his timing, reflexes and defence are so unbelievably good that it's utterly insane that you could hold such a position.
You obviously have never watched a single boxing match since 1979!
