Read this article it talks about all the types of gloves in boxing

Perhaps the most important piece of equipment used in the ring by fighters is the type of gloves they choose to wear on the night of the fight, as well as during their training...

I think people underestimate what comfort means to the fighter. Might not be the best comparison here but when I first started boxing and learning to wrap my hands I would sometimes wrap my hands too tight(similar to how Maidana needed vaseline to get his hands in the powerlocks) and it would completely bother me doing bag work and I would have to re-wrap my hands to punch comfortably.

They don't need it, and they shouldn't have to handicap themselves.
I think your confused , thinking im saying Maidana has to have as much padding as FMJ.All fighters without hand problems should be using gloves made with the same padding.

According to Maidana the gloves that Floyd made him wear in their first fight had so much padding that Maidana was barely able to get his hands in them and make a closed fist. How is this fair?

I believe all gloves have the same padding, just distributed differently.

Quite sure if Mayweather could fight with the less padding, he would, but don't penalize your opponent because he can

It's clear that he's accusing Everlast for manufacturing non-padded gloves.

True that. Also to note, I read on one comment here before about how using different glove affects how your punches bounce back after making contact. I agree from a martial arts point of view on that when we use sparring gloves and mma style gloves.

I dont give a crap about FMJ. All fighters without hand problems should be wearing gloves made of the same material with the same equally distibuted padding. The fighters with hurt hands let them use more , it putting them at a disadvantage over the non injured anyway.

I addressed your issue 5 times already. Every question you asked I answered directly, in this thread and all the others where you keep reposting the same stuff over and over.

Get over it. Floyd picks gloves he wants when he wants to. If you don't like it, that's fine with me.

Can't wait until he makes khan wear pork hair gloves.

How about hurt hands or not, everbody wears equal amount of padding...if you really want to be fair....your way still caters to some fighters, not all of them
