I dont understand why in a sport like boxing you would be able to use gloves with less padding. All gloves should be equal in padding and I have a hard time taking anyone serious who thinks otherwise. I think if you need to use specfic gloves with less padding it shows your looking for an advantage, and why would FMJ give him an advantage? This whole ordeal wouldnt exist if all gloves were regulated to have the same padding.

Floyd does nothing new. Its the same thing ODH did to him, the CW unification same thing ODH did to Bhop. There was no whining about that.

Posters are just upset they haven't seen Floyd lose. If they get that chance then they wont be obsessed with trying to knock him down a peg.

They don't have less padding. They have the same padding but distributed throughout the glove differently. There's also different types of padding.

Because I have yet to see one thread about "glove choice" prior to this, even though any true boxing fan knows its happened dozens of times. Talking about posters obsessive behavior by referencing other situations where the same thing occurred isn't passing the buck. I commented on whining because there is a lot of that in the thread.

As far as this statement- its part of the press tour. Floyd has no ****ing idea what happened with gloves in any of Maidana's previous fights. Any rational adult would have written his comment off right there.

Mayweather claimed the Everlast MX gloves were manufactured with less padding around the knuckles, stating that it gave Maidana an unfair advantage.
