So lets see how that plays out. Lets say me and you box professionally and we have an upcoming fight. Your hands are brittle like floyd, so you use the "defensive gloves". I have harder hands and my hands dont hurt or get injured when I fight, so I would use the "punchers glove". I still dont get how people dont understand that difference. If you got soft hands, aka floyd/p.malignaggi, you use "defensive gloves". Gloves where made to protect hands, not faces.

Because he ****ing can and they can't, which is your real problem. You don't give a **** if Floyd looks bad-you care that the Commission bowed down to him because they didn't want to risk losing all that money if he walked.

Stop the *****ing. Floyd's antics will catch up to him one day and he will pay for it. He's gonna lose his power, control, and be made to beg just like he made others.

Until that day, to quote ric falir, "whether you like it or don't like it, learn to love it cuz its the best thing going today, WOOOOOOO"
I love when Floyd fantards try to psychoanalyse you instead of addressing the issue

Yes Dunn, we know he has the power to do it. The point is that it's a b1tch move.

No different gloves different styles Reyes gloves have more weight on the writs and less on the knuckle area and is used by punchers. Others like Grants and Winning are foam and used by boxers with hand problems.

And if a fighter DOESNT have hand issues he should be able to use whatever goddamn glove he pleases. Specifically a punchers glove that power punchers are more inclined to use.

Lol you act like there isnt a serious issue with gloves and cling to your wrong opinion that there is only two different types of gloves, punchers gloves and gloves for boxers with bad hands, when in reality not all punchers gloves have the same distributed padding. It is obvious that boxing gloves need to be regulated properly and have the same type of padding.

Why should a fighter have to wear pillow gloves just because his opponent has hand problems? That's like saying a basketball player should have to wear a face mask because he's guarding someone who has one for a fractured bone in their face or a broken nose. They don't need it, and they shouldn't have to handicap themselves.

This glove issue will be resolved so no need to get uptight about it. This just gives people one more reason to hate Mayweather and probably one more reason to buy the PPV and hope and pray that he lose.

If everyone is questioning why this is a big issue for Mayweather shouldn't the same question be asked of Maidana? It seems like most people are expecting Mayweather to make the concession when in fact he is literally paying Maidana to fight him. Shouldn't Maidana concede to a certain point?

The difference in hand comfort in gloves could be the difference between landing crisp and with full steam, or not. In this punch right here it could have been the difference in a knockdown.

Not how it works though. Boxers have different styles. If you're a puncher and your strength is your power, you want to use the gloves (approved by the commission of course) that best let you utilize your strengths. If you're a defensive fighter with very little power and fragile hands, you're going to want to use the gloves that best let you utilize your strengths which in this case would be the type of gloves Floyd and Paulie use since it offers more protection and lets you tap away while scoring points and not hurting yourself.

There isn't a serious issue. There's never been a serious issue until Floyd decided to act like a b*tch. Why wasn't it a problem when Floyd didn't have hand problems? Why didn't he care about fighters health then?

He's being a diva b*tch, and there's no way to defend him making these kind of absurd accusations.
