Of course. One of the greatest fighters right now and some say thee greatest right now (I assume you will agree to that) believes he will get hurt if those gloves are worn. So if the greatest fighter right now actively believe his health and 0 is on the line with Maidana wearing Everylast MX gloves then why shouldent we believe Maidana can win with those gloves on?

Pretty simple really, its not rocket science. Theirs a reason Those gloves are called a punchers gloves and theirs a reason the one Mayweather prefers are called orthopedics.

Like I said. He would've been disqualified for it. Obviously its not as egregious as some make it out to be. I suppose getting away with low blows is ok as long as its Maidana and he wins?

Just because he hasn't been disqulaified or even sternly warned for that matter doesn't mean it's not a big deal. It just shows that THERE IS A DOUBLE STANDARD.

He follows through with punches on the inside with forearms, and also uses his elbows excessively.

He also holds excessively with no warnings, when I have seen numerous fighters for excessive holding and points being deducted.

If those tactics aren't dirty I don't know what is. Floyd cryin when he uses his own tactics without reprocussion.

Wow so a guy who cant win without breaking the rules gets defended when his opponent seeks a ref who will allow for a BOXING match to proceed instead of a MMA match. Lol, you guys let your hate for Floyd blind you sooooo much. So it was ok for Pac to do the same before fighting Bradley the first time and ask to watch for his headbutts. Roach was a very loud voice in that regard.
Stop being unreasonable and expect a boxing match, if Maidana only chance is to get a KO by way of dirty tactic then he shouldnt be boxing at this level.

There are many different variables to boxing. Pure boxers are one, but there are also fighters that can effectively fight on the inside that is part of the sport.

If you don't allow a man to fight his fight on the inside within the rules, you may as well tie his hands behind his back.

We will see Floyd tie Maidana up anytime he gets close, and the ref immediately break them ALA Joe Cortez.

Warning for head butting is valid when a fighters blatantly uses it and head butting is at no time within the rules, but there are ways to fight on the inside within the rules.

Floyd doesn't want Maidiana to be able to be allowed to fight the way that would give him the best shot to be effective. Deck will be stacked against Maidana with thee gloves, fighting Floyd, and Floyds hand picked referee.

Maidana has no shot but to show up and ge paid.

as a floyd hater i expect you to exaggerate what maidana did which was rabbit punch, tackle, knee, bite, and low blow his way to a LOSS!
