This is quite possible. I'm not dis*****g this. I'm just making a point on how it can be hard to score close fights accurately. I also think Lara's strategy of jab and retreat didnt help his cause. He knew he had to look extra impressive in order to sway the judges. Fighting just to score points wasnt going to cut it. He had to bring the fight to Canelo and hurt/drop/KO him. At least try!!

Roth is one of the "best officials ever in boxing history"? Didn't he score it for Rios versus Abril? lol Now that was a real robbery.

These cats are looking for another payday. I don't blame them; I would, too. I guess we're gonna have to put up with this noise for a while.

Get back in the gym, Lara, and focus on changing your approach next time! Maybe you'll get another shot someday. Maybe....

His scorecard was bogus but he's reaching with the Top Rank comment. The NSAC appears to have taken action so just leave it at that and let them do their job.

Team Lara needs to move on. Nobody gained anything from that fight, nobody lost anything from that fight and nobody gains anything from a rematch. He got his $1 million, he has his title, opinions are split; and nobody is interested in a rematch.

There are plenty of other strong champions out there from 154-160 Lara can go after to build his legacy.

He's right the fans didn't get a fair shake because his fighter did not come to fight. I admit the fight didn't prove that Canelo was superior but it did reward the right fighter with a win. 117-111 is a terrible fight card but to give the fight to Lara because he threw 10 more punches then Canelo is idiotic. Canelo controlled the fight landed the most punches that caused damage. You can see that the body punches were clearly starting to effect Lara, never once did you see Canelo intimidated and hurt by anything that Lara threw.

Fighters and such are fully aware that the Boxing Fan's do not tolerate being a sore loser and trash talking yet Lara's people continue to do an excellent job of alienating him from the Boxing community and possibly killing his career. Best to move on....

Yeah, Roth is also the guy who scored the 12th of Tito-DLH for DLH to try and make his pro-Tito scorecard less obvious.

I have to say man, you're a real honorable cat. Again, I think ANYONE who thinks that Canelo or Lara won clearly, are delusional. Most of this comes down to what style you like, and how you see the judging rules of a fight.

115-113 was the correct score, it just could have gone either way. I think the Lara camp is really looking silly now, and just acting like cry babies. Of course they want a rematch, but they aren't getting one because it was a dud of a fight.

With Maidana vs Mayweather, it was extremely entertaining and the public wants that fight badly.

Lara didn't really lose, he has the talent to keep being one of the top in the division and will get his shot soon enough no doubt.

I don't know about that. Marquez and Nacho do a lot of whining and it has worked for the most part.
