115-113 was the correct score, it just could have gone either way. I think the Lara camp is really looking silly now, and just acting like cry babies. Of course they want a rematch, but they aren't getting one because it was a dud of a fight.

With Maidana vs Mayweather, it was extremely entertaining and the public wants that fight badly.

Lara didn't really lose, he has the talent to keep being one of the top in the division and will get his shot soon enough no doubt.
Thanks, bro. You know the feeling's mutual.

I have little sympathy for Lara. I thought he did enough to win, but him and his team had to know what was expected of him. You're gonna lose the close rounds, and you're not getting invited to the next party with that inactive style. The guy got paid well, and he reached a level of exposure extremely few fighters will ever know. He had his chance. Like I said before, I don't blame these guys for trying to come back to the well one more time, but I'm tuning them out very rapidly.

Lara & Co Are Starting To Sound Like JMM & Co!!!

Stand and fight then. How the hell does anyone judge a guys power punches or ring generalship, when you're backpedaling your azz off to avoid the line of fire from your opponent, sliding along the ropes from one ring post to another. Be a man and stand in there and wage war so there is no doubt who won. Lara looked good the first two or three rounds , but when Canelo's body shots started to take affect, he left his game plan and tried to stay out of harms way the rest of the way. It NEVER looks good when you opponent has to chase you all over the ring. Lara, if you don't like it, get back on the boat and go back to Cuba where they all fight like you. That must be entertaining. In the meantime, quit *****ing and calling for conspiracy theories you weasel!

Let's not act like bad scores only happen in Canelo fights though. How many times have we watched a fight and one fighter is clearly ahead and two judges have it exactly that way. Then the 3rd judge has it 115-113 for the other fighter. There's no conspiracy here. I don't believe Martinez was bought. It's a bad scorecard. The real question is how can this problem be remedied?

I've always wondered about how the judges' vantage point affects how they saw the fight. Maybe judges need to watch the fight on a television screen as we do. That way they have the benefit of different angles and they won't miss some of the work a fighter does.

Martinez was the only judge that had Lomachencko beating Salido. His card was 115-113. The other judges had 115-113 and 116-112 for Salido. That's a big disparity.

He was the only judge that had Viloria beating Juan Estrada. Martinez had the fight 115-113 for Viloria. The other judges had it 116-111 and 117-111 for Estrada. That's a huge difference.

There are plenty of other examples too like Macklin vs. Sturm.

Boxing history is absolutely soaked in bad decisions. I've also thought using televisions would improve judging. We have the technology, and the money is there for the bigger fights. Why not? Of course, it wouldn't be a cure-all, there would still be corruption and bad decisions, but I do believe it would be an improvement.
