Canelos a mediocre fighter. True "hypejob," IMO

He took Boones best shots in the second fight. Enough said. This is the pros

Here's a better question: Who has Canelo fought by his 20th fight?

Kovalev has fought better competition when both were at this stage in their careers. You're comparing a guy with almost 50 fights who didn't step up til his almost 40rh fight with a guy who before he even had 20 fights was calling out the lineal champ in the division and made him run away to Al Haymon

Canelo also turned pro at i think 15 and at 23 is taking on much better fighters in major events. You cant compare the two. Canelo is a superstar

I'm not the one who brought up Kovalev

At the end of the day it can be spun however he wants but Kovalev is ready to fight anyone.

He's been calling out Ward, Hopkins and Superduck Stevenson for the past year....... Go ask them why they haven't fought Kovalev

Kovalev and GGG should be considered in the same light as Deontay Wilder....They look great KO'ing bums but havent fought any elite opponents yet...

You're just showing your lack of boxing knowledge to those divisions. Golovkin and Kovalev have beaten multiple top 10 opponents, Wilder hasn't beaten one.

Do they have beat a US hype-job like Broner for you to acknowledge it?

Yeah Hopkins said he would fight him

Kovalevs promoter called and got no answer

                  No public response yet....

                  it's Kovalevs fault

And hypejob relative to his marketing/promoter. He's been hyped as "the next big thing" and "the one"

He clearly isn't either. He's an ordinary fighter who got 2 gift decisions against his toughest opponents not named Floyd

Obviously he's not a BAD fighter..... But he's reached his peak, IMO
                    the division is weak......

                    lets look at middleweight

golovkin, macklin, Geale, Murray, Quillin. sturm. chavez jr?

now compare that to the so called "weak" 154 pound division.

canelo, lara, mayweather, cotto, angulo, Vanes, Andrade, kirkland, carlos molina, so on

if the 154 pound division is weak middleweight must be a garbage bin..............agree?

Why, because it has more US and Mexican fighters? just because they appear more on US TV doesn't mean they're better and Floyd doesn't even fight at 154. He's had one fight there in years, at 152lbs.
