Canelos a mediocre fighter. True "hypejob," IMO

No I agree with you Maidana Floyd was 7-5 either way, I thought it was a draw.

I didn't see vicious body shots at all, of course every fight isn't the same, but this fight and the Mayweather fight are similar in that both had a pressure fighter but posters are rewarding the opposite things, so it exposes hypocrisy and inconsistency.

you watched the stream bro with some probably crappy sound and couldnt hear the shots echo in the arena. Those were some vicious ass body shots and some laughable punch stats. Do yourself a favor and download the fight ******* that shiet and watch it in good quality.

I will watch it again, maybe the stream was cutting out on every landed combo, but I swear every time it was fine Canelo was missing and chasing. If I change my mind hardcore on the fight after rewatching it, I will come make a thread about it and eat my crow.

You're right, no need to re-watch. Canelo missed and did alot of chasing. He did connect with some body shots but nothing vicious. If he was landing vicious body shots it would have slowed Lara down. He was moving about the same throughout the fight.

Canelo could be called that a few years ago, but really has stepped up. Honestly, how can you call him a hype job after beating Trout and now Lara? His run has been exceptional and HE wanted this fight not his team.

I actually used to be a big critic of his a couple of years ago.

Don't be surprised if he goes up to MW and beat Cotto.

                    154 is weak as hell.

He's an average fighter at best. Basic, limited and sloppy.

Sure he's young. But I don't see him getting any better.

He wouldn't even beat Geale, Murray or Macklin at 160 IMHO.
Couldn't of said it better myself
