Canelo is the perfect example of a carefully planned-nit-picked career.



He's an average fighter at best. Basic, limited and sloppy.



Sure he's young. But I don't see him getting any better.



He wouldn't even beat Geale, Murray or Macklin at 160 IMHO.

He got completely outclassed by Floyd. Austin Trout isn't very good, and he barely beat him. Angulo is an old caveman. And he just looked terrible against Lara IMO.

He has yet to dominate any top fighter. Trout fight very close and if it wasn't for the kd it would have been a draw IMO and he lost to Lara IMO, 7-5. Plus angulo was a shot fighter and not to mention extremely basic and limited.

He will lose bad against the guys at his real weight class (middleweight).

It is what it is. He just isn't as good as his promoter or the media makes him out to be IMO
