You all give too much merit to what you hear on TV from the commentators who are supposed to be "experts". Paulie Mags was the ONLY one up there being real and it's because he's a fighter at the end of the day so he knows the politics of the sport and has openly been against it as he's spoke out about it many times. The rest of those tools are affraid to lose their jobs so they always speak up for the house fighter whomever it may be. Paulie though can go fight and make hundreds of thousands to a mill if he gets fired from broadcasting so he's not in fear of losing his job, just tells it how it is. I love that about him. Max Kellerman used to be that dude until he got on the payroll. Paulie is the realest and my favourite commentator in boxing right now and Cannoli Alvarez is a sham.

I felt Canelo really didn't hit Lara with anything effective other than the one uppercut he landed. The body shots were mostly arms shots with no leverage to Lara's arm. Canelo had the right game plan but didn't execute it well. If the body shots had landed right then Lara would've slowed down and that never happened. Just my 2 cents since we are on a boxing forum lol

Lara was trying to fight the style of ivan calderon but failed. Big fan of Lara but dam throw some dam punches,all he had to do was throw more punches. The last score was bs but Canelo won based on Lara low punch output

88 power shots! 88!! With an exclamation point..out of 97 total landed. If any other fighter on planet earth put up those numbers you would not be in here complaining. Yes 117-111 is bogus but comparing what lara landed to what canelo landed is absolutely laughable. 3 Post fight thoughts of mine.

A few in here claiming robbery and that Oscar influenced the judges. I thought everyone was saying Haymon was the most powerful guy in boxing? LOL. Lara should be mad at Al

At the press conference, someone asked Oscar if Lara will get a rematch. Oscar's reply with Lara standing right next to him, says nobody wants the rematch. "Lara has to get in line". (I guess Lara should have thought twice about dissing Oscar publicly via the press earlier this week)

And Finally. I thought Trout boxed way better against Canelo than Lara did. His movement had meaning and he actually controlled much of the fight. Lara did not box smart after the first 3 rounds.
