I had it 8-4 or 7-5 Canelo. I think 7-5 was fair though. While Lara did box effectively at times, he was too inactive and basically ran at times. Canelo was always pressuring and rampaged Lara's body beautifully. Canelo has areas to improve on such as head movement ect but for me he did very well in dealing with a skilled boxer and cutting the ring off. Props to Canelo for a great victory. Now he should chase the Cotto fight!

    War Canelo!!

It's funny how the Lara defenders(by the way I'm a Lara fan) are praising Lara for running but shit on Wlad for doing the same in a fight. Color/Flag makes a big difference.

If I recall oscar was robbed against Trinidad but you Lara nelo a draw. Were you impressed by Canelos boxing? I'm just asking bc I know you like Nelo and would like to know what his fans think bc it looks like the fans at the arena even felt nelo lost

It's hard to continue to watch boxing after this kinda b.s. Lara clearly won. They were too scared to even really bring up the compubox numbers throughout the fight since the golden boy was down.

          Keep ur head up Lara

I bet these same fans who claim runners can't win and complain about them are big fans of Rigo and Floyd.

I thought Lara won, easily, but a draw was reasonable in my mind for the occasion. But its obvious Lara is not Mayweather, and not even Rigondeaux...I cant wait to see Canelo knock out Cotto though...That'll be a good fight.

I scored it Lara 7 to Canelo 5. Close fight with some swing rounds. My guy lost but I'm okay with it. But I'm not okay with 117-111 for Nelo. The fight deserves a rematch. Lara should have known that he was in hostile territory and should have stood his ground a little more.

Too bad there is a better chance of me winning the Presidential election over Hillary than seeing a rematch.

We boxing fans are masochistic. Even after such fishy scores like (this fight's 117-111, and the judge that had Canelo over May etc...) we keep coming back for more.

I had Lara edging it but it was close, I just can't see Canelo winning 7+ rounds though. I'll have to rewatch. People keep saying Lara "ran" and wasn't active enough, so if that's the case what did Canelo do? The guy did less than the guy you all are critiquing.
