Looks like Mayweather promotions will be promting this by himself
floyd needs to steer clear from promoting and putting up his own money. that is a recipe for disaster.

Get ready for J'eon "tested positive" Love vs Guacamole (ranked 250 and a division below him) the Al Haymon way.

Yeah doesnt look good at all, Haymon fighters are fighting chumps pretty much as of late.

      Garcia vs Salka
      Peterson vs Edgar
Lucas vs TBA (looks lika massa)

The reason they cant put two Haymon fighters against each other cause the money wont split two ways. This way they put haymon and a bum and pay the bum bum money and the haymon fighters takes all the loot.

I don't like Espinoza, but a lot of idiots who don't know anything about the business, and don't have contracts/numbers in their hands spew a lot of ****.

Still the highest selling ppv of 2014.

And Espinoza is right, if Showtime had lost money on Maidana they wouldn't be turning right around and doing a rematch with him. They would have waited until Amir Khan was available.

Espinoza must think we're idiots (and for some here, he's correct). Simple math tells you if the fight did a maximum of 900K (and most reports indicate it was closer to 850K) then:

              $70 per buy x 900K = $63 million

Satellite and cable companies take 50% ($31.5 million)

              Gate = $15 million

Total profit (not counting TV rights): $46.5 million

Fighter purses: $38 million (just guarantees, no back end deals)

Cost for promotion: $10 million (baseline for past Floyd fights)

              Total Expenses: $48 million

Love or Hate, as long as they are paying, Floyd remains the highest paid athlete on planet earth. While your giving analysis on Floyd's PPVs, please explain why Pacquiao's PPVs are garbage. I'll wait.

And a dude who knows basic math.

Whoever did this interview should've asked Espinoza why Showtime still hasn't released the official numbers for the fight.
