some people will never give Mayweather credit even though he fulfilled his promise and gave Maidana a rematch. the gloves debate should be a moot point because any gloves they use will be 8 ounces no matter what. they say Floyd dragged on the negotiations but fail to realize that Floyd doesn't even have to agree to a rematch at all. It doesn't take a damn genius to realize that Floyd is the big name not Maidana and like all big time fighters like Cotto and Manny, Floyd has paid his dues and will always have more say. In my opinion Floyd will win the 2nd fight because like the 1st fight, i think he'll land more and have a higher connect rate. Sure Maidana will push him to the ropes and **** a little but that's no surprise considering Maidana weighed at least 15 more pounds than Mayweather on fight night but no one wants to talk about that.Comment

Maybe Floyd will give Maidana the same pillows that De La Hoya picked out for Floyd in their fight. It was because of those pillows that Floyd lost to Oscar. Oh, wait!!!! Floyd beat Oscar, even with the pillows that Oscar picked out for him!!

If he started today, he would have two full months to train. That is more than enough time, except for haters like you.Although it was obvious the rematch was going to happen, since Mayweather has no other options, but obviously someone was trying to drag this out way longer then it should have been, hoping Maidana wouldn't start training until contracts were signed and has gotten fat and lazy inbetween fights.
Mayweather knew he was fighting September 13, Maidana didn't.Comment

I will come looking for you after the fight, because this is laughable, coming from one of the better posters on BoxingScene by far, but it's ok, most were wrong the first time around also so I expect you to humbly admit you were wrong after the fight.Comment

I just hope Maidana got lucky and KO's the fraud this time so we can STFU and move on with our ****ing lives!!!

Except Floyd is defense first with exceptional fundamentals. Much of Roy's defense was jumping in and our of range and not slipping, catching or rolling punches. I see the parallel no doubt but the circumstance is where it begins and ends.Comment
