I know Mosley would be the first one, but are you referring to Judah as the second? I don't think that would qualify as badly hurt.

I think Mayweather has a good chin - he can take a shot. He was hit a lot by Maidana, and didn't seem hurt much at any stage really.

Despite having an ATG defence like every boxer he gets hit and seems to shrug it off better than most, he is one of the best at hiding when he is hurt.

Apart from Mosley and that lanky southpaw he faced (can't remember his name) I've rarely seen him visibly hurt, ODLH landed a massive right hand on him I think in the 11th and he shrugged it off so well, Maidana landed some huge blows and he shrugged them off like nothing..

The fact that's he's never been officially knocked down in his whole career is amazing..

Out of 10 where do you rank the sturdiness of Mayweather's chin?
I don't think he shrugged off that right hand in the 11th, I think he covered up being stunned or hurt. He definitely took it well though.

I'd say his chin is a 7.5-8 and his recuperative skills at 8.5.

if you mean the right hand where Floyd was along the ropes, Floyd danced off the ropes and bounced to shake it off in his legs

Yeah that's exactly the punch I'm talking about and yeah shake it off in his legs is a great way to put it.

Agree with almost everybody, is a very solid chin, a 7-8, not tested enough, but definitely solid.

Granite chins, are prime Margarito, Prime Mayorga, JCC Rs and JR, etc

what stands out is his composure and intense single-minded focus

when rocked he doesn't fail to protect himself for even a split second

nearly every other fighter has a window of vulnerability where they can be followed up on after being rocked.

Being dazed is something Floyd doesn't do

He has taken a couple of booming bodyshots throughout his career yet didn't even flinch

Second one was the Corley fight.

That's the worst I've seen him hurt.

Floyd's calmness and composer is what is a 10. H e does not panic or show emotion he stays level...even when he did what he did to Ortiz he was completely composed.. I have never seen him panic in the ring

He hasn't just got an iron chin. His ability to take body punches and not even show an ounce of pain is extraordinary, showcased obviously against Maidana and also Canelo, who landed a few absolute crackers without the slightest reaction from Floyd.
