Also claiming Felix Trindad as a "brother." Nah he's a Hispanic (I bet if you asked him he would identify as a Hispanic) you can't really claim him....Unless you also consider Sammy Sosa, El Duque, and David Ortiz "brothers"..

Hopkins proved that to a T when he said, "I'll never lose to a white boy." when he fought Calzaghe. It's like he couldn't live with himself if that happened against a Caucasian. Very interesting dynamic. Can anyone explain the rationale behind it?
Black Americans maybe, but all Blacks in general? Absolutely not....I don't think the Caribbean/Hispanic/African Blacks care at all whether or not they loose to a White guy compared to a guy from any other race...

Do you think Lara or Chris Eubank or Nigel Ben cared if they lost to a White fighter???

No Trindad is mostly/all African....I've seen pictures of him with his family members and they were all clearly Black with African features (flat nose etc)....But culturally he's a Hispanic....Same as El Duque and David Ortiz and Sammy Sosa are culturally Hispanics, but of the Black race....

Felix Verdejo on the other hand looks more like a mixed race mulatto....He likely has European and African ancestors and maybe some Taino Indian to.....

Ward has a White Irish Father and a Black Mother...

Culture and upbringing determines behavior much more than race does....

Kovalev going to harpoon Hopkins just like he would've in B-Hops prime. Prime B-Hops too small for a man of Sergey's stature. Eazy wurk.

Hopkins is just too experienced for the very green Kovalev and he has never been close to being knocked out either. Bernard knows Sergey has only one bullet in the chamber and that's his power.

B-Hops on the other hand is a master boxer with a better defense and one who doesn't get caught flush all that often against huge punchers because of his subtle movements, tucked chin and also because a natural slugger is typically slower than the average boxer or volume puncher.

However, if Sergey attempts to try to out box Hopkins then he has lost part of the fight already because that means that Hopkins has gotten inside of his head. However, I expect a lot of counters, movement and combination punching from Hopkins as he neutralizes Kovalev's only strength as he tries to over power and overwhelm Bernard with his punches.

I honestly believe Hopkins will initiate attacks . Make his hands move. Light shots and down the stretch he will start putting mustard on the right hands and drop kovalev a couple times. Right Uppercuts on the inside.

I do happen to agree with you that it is Black Americans. That's what I was thinking but didn't clarify. I guess it's come full circle as it was a cloak of shame for a white person to lose to a black person 100 plus years ago.
