As the eve of the fight approaches, I still envision the same result. Hopkins luring Kovalev into a borefest of posing, for a surprisingly easy UD. Hopkins delivers the occasional pot shot to win the rounds. John David Jackson is a strong (and apparently vengeful ) presence in Kovalev's corner to urge him to stop looking a Hop. But I see a stinker into the late rounds. Then Kovalev suddenly realizes that he's down about 5 points with only 3 rounds to go !

By this time, Kovalev has accumulated some hard potshots by Hopkins, possibly a gash from a butt, and the UD is in the bag. Hopkins boring 12 round UD, 117-111. There always seems to be one judge that gives a score that Hokins is su****ious of . But he'll win nonetheless.

so for kova to win he has to either land and ko hopkins or make hopkins scared of his power and shell up and take a ud based on activity
