You guys with all this glove talk, make it seem like he has magic gloves and he needs them to win. Keep in mind all this glove controversy started when HIS gloves failed inspection for not having sufficient padding. It's makes you wonder. You cannot blame Floyd for being skeptical about his gloves from that point forward. Also, the Garcia camp has had some issues with following the rules lately as well.Comment

It is the right choice as long as Maidana can wear his gloves and the ref isnt going to allow floyds constant elbowing/forearm smashes. I also want to see him warned for constantly offering the back of his head and complaining when he gets hit there, something he has done in every fight since Hatton.Comment

I'm hoping floyd performs in this rematch like he did in the Castillo rematch and doesn't get KTFO like RJJ in the Tarver rematch.
I hope he also makes Maidana wear gloves, shoes, and trunks he doesn't want to so the usual NSB clowns can whine should he win.Comment

And Gong, don't even try to tell me Maidana didn't do those things or that he only did it in retaliation, because that's crap. They're both dirty fighters and the ref allowed a free-for-all.Last edited by Derranged; 07-02-2014, 07:36 AM.Comment

I didnt say that did I? Maidana was dirty too, but Floyd didnt get picked up once for his forearms or this offering of the back of his head. A fair shake is all thats required, but it never happens when it comes to floyd.Comment

Whatever the case is, let's just hope Laurence Cole isn't the ref.Comment
