Some of the Brit fans on here actually claimed he "ducked" Khan to fight Maidana. lol.

Seriously though, THESE are pillows that DLH made Floyd wear.

A rematch? What for?
A rematch with Maidana, why, because he didn't dominate the first fight? Floyd clearly won, although it was competitive throughout it doesn't warrant a rematch. It just seems like a convenient way for Floyd to avoid Porter, Bradley and Thurman while also passing more time and letting Pacquaio burn out a little more by fighting an opponent he is now familiar with. Last year was a great year for boxing, this year has been dismal at best.

AND Marcos was paid a total $5 million for the last fight.
Try harder.

the gloves debate is nothing because all gloves at that weight will be 8 ounces no matter what. Floyd wanted them to change the gloves because he and all other big name boxers, wanted to play mind games and show that he's the main attraction. but people are going to complain no matter what.
in my opinion, Floyd clearly won the fight. the man threw less punches and still connected more i don't know what the hell people are talking about when they say Floyd ran. Most of the time he was right in front of Maidana even though he weighed nearly 15 or 17 pounds less than Maidana so of course Maidana is going to be able to push him around.

I think he's better suited for that. He'd have no shortage of opponents. Andrade, Canelo, Vanes, the Charlos, Lara, Kirkland etc.. Nowadays these guys just want the payday and notoriety for challenging Floyd. I say build your own brand and make your own path. To me Thurman's most intriguing fights are at 154 and above.
Thurman is a true welterweight why would he move up? Thurman will get his chance just like GG will get his

Reading some these comments on here will raise your blood pressure. These comment makes no sense. Why would gloves play that big of a part in a fight? Thats like saying Bron taking off his shoes to put Kobe's shoes on b/c Kobe's shoes make you jump higher. It aint the shoes..... Its you...
