A run for his money? I swear some of you are just plain blind. Only thing Maidana landed beyond the 1st few rounds was low blows and rabbit punches. Maidana won 3 rounds at best Fight wasn't close Floyd was the clear winner..

Think about what you're saying. Take Floyd out of it. You're saying a boxer is purposely turning his head so he can be hit in the back of the head and complains when it happens. Why would anybody do that?

Let Marcos fight in whatever equipment he wants...fk it since we found out later that whole thing was bullshhh anyway. If not don't make the fight, don't like the idea of hinderance towards either guy, if the equipment is legal go for it let each man fight at his own comfort with the equipment he is comfortable with. I don't have a problem with a rematch or either man but I do hope each man gets what they want out of this new rematch deal ahead of time.

People "hating" this fight are the same people who were saying how Manny killed, dismanteld, beat down, and put Bradley in a wheelchair. Then in the same breath are the same people who WILL ALWAYS say Manny beat a #3p4p fighter in the rematch. I have no problem with this rematch, the first fight was a good, maybe even great and exciting fight. Lots of action and Maidana made Floyd fight his fight. Some people even said maidana won on this board, so how could they complain about this fight?

And Gong, don't even try to tell me Maidana didn't do those things or that he only did it in retaliation, because that's crap. They're both dirty fighters and the ref allowed a free-for-all.

it was a rough and tumble fight...i've seen a million of them...i have no issue with either of their tactics.

This is the only fight that made sense for September 2014.

Maidana won 5 rounds in the first fight, even though Floyd won the close but clear decision. The only time Floyd came that close to losing was Castillo, who he immediately rematched.

If Floyd fought someone else, you'd all be saying he was ducking the Maidana rematch. Give me a ****ing break. There's no neutral ground on NSB, why I rarely post here anymore.
