I'm not buying this, but I'm glad Maidana is giving Floyd a rematch.

Hopefully he can wear the gloves approved by NSAC

Is this with or without the gloves?

The last fight was a great one, so this makes sense. Props to Mayweather for keeping his word, and giving Maidana an immediate rematch. I hope Khan fights Thurman (if Manny don't want none) because Thurman deserves a shot at a big name too. I wouldn't have been mad if Floyd chose him over Maidana.

The first fight was very good and very competitive, and I will never complain when a fighter gives someone who gave them a run for their money a rematch.

I find it hard to care because I find it hard to care about anything Floyd or Pac do anymore, but it is a good choice.

What's funny is that people were claiming Mayweather would "duck" the rematch, Maidana was "robbed" and deserves a rematch. Now that he's getting the rematch, people are saying "Fraud cherrypicks again, boycott the fight". If Floyd didn't give him a rematch, the same ******s would be screaming duck until their mothers ran into their room to give them a diaper change and read them a bedtime story. Same old crap.

Anyway, despite the fact that it did not do great PPV wise, the first fight was a really good, close fight so I don't mind the rematch that much. If it was a standard Floyd wash out, then I'd be outraged. Also, I don't believe that Floyd only has 3 fights left in his entire career. The way he burns through money he's gonna have to fight until he's 50.

Couldn't disagree more. Floyd has 3 fights left. The Maidana fight wasn't that close and really wasn't that entertaining beyond the first few rounds imo. Maidana can't hurt Floyd that was obvious....I'd much rather see Broner vs Maidana II

A run for his money? I swear some of you are just plain blind. Only thing Maidana landed beyond the 1st few rounds was low blows and rabbit punches. Maidana won 3 rounds at best Fight wasn't close Floyd was the clear winner..

What fans have a hard time grasping is that World Class Elite Fighters do not know the word "fear". It's usually the promoters, training team and or advisors that steer them away from certain fights. To be the best you have to want to fight anyone, anywhere, any time.
