Once again...nobody refused a test. I believe in the beginning it had more to do with the way Floyd approached the entire issue by first accusing Pac of being a roiding cheater. TR saw it as "who the hell is Floyd to blast Pac for being a cheater then demand he take tests" It was more of an ego thing than anything else.

He requested no cutoff and then went against his own wishes to offer a cutoff date to make the fight.

I don't care about how Manny was treated, that is not a justification for refusing to take tests-tests that BOTH fighters, not just manny would take.

We agree that floyd could've done more to make the fight happen. Manny "trying to make the fight" is because he was the one who killed it originally. He has no choice but to accept tests and take a smaller piece of the pie.

WHere I fault floyd is that he isn't satisfied with that, He wants more. He is literally trying to make manny beg and then give him a pittance as payback for manny refusing the fight. I am a fan of Manny, do I think he dabbled in it? Yes
I also think every other fighter at the top has also dabbled in it. Yes Floyd(there is actually a paper trail that Floyd has failed tests and they got covered up)

There is also some evidence that GPB has some sort of contract that does not allow the USADA to disclose failed tests now, until AFTER the fight HAPPENS. We also have seen Kid Chocolate get his results tossed out.

We have seen a number of GBP associated fighters fail tests. Peterson, Berto, Bey etc. None of them were exposed by the USADA, but by NSAC and Vada.

So what is the conclusion of all this? There is no promoter, and no fighter really wanting this. We are starting to see cross promotional demand, but testing is not good for Business. The Athletes and the ones testing them to not adhere to any true standards. Pauli is out there throwing names around, but he has a very narrow focus. Lets see if he has the guts to outright accuse any Al Haymon fighter of doping. Does he believe it is not happening on his side? Or is he too afraid to rock the boat he himself is sailing in.

i agree. it's very unprofessional of paulie to accuse someone of steroid abuse without any evidence at all. unfortunately i doubt he will lose his job or face any consequences. but if showtime wants to prove they are a good and quality network then they should reconsider keeping paulie around.
