Did it ever dawn on u that maybe Gamboa came out guns blazing trying to get TC outta there because he knew he was rusty seems to me like Gamboa put a lot into those 1st few rounds because he was gassing by the 4th! You keep saying excuses these are the facts. Gamboa was rusty. period. doesn't mean he would have won but I don't think TC beats a sharper Gamboa that way..

He gassed because he had to use his legs to change range. Terrance Can throw a Jab, to Jab back, Gamboa has to Step and Jab, it takes a TON more energy. Terrance can throw a right hand, Gamboa has to step and throw his right hand, takes a ton more energy, add in the Extra weight, and it was a always going to end this way if he couldn't stop him early.

Gamboa keeps getting up man, if you're going to go out then do it like that.

He got up, kept throwing bombs of his own and took his chances. He got up again at the end and you know he would have come out in that next round firing if given the chance. You know in advance that you will be gutted if your fighter loses, but it's rare that a loss makes you appreciate a fighter more, but that was the deal tonight for me. He showed the physical and skillful greatness, he showed the mental flaws that get him in trouble and then he showed the heart; what more can you ask for? Well, other than fighting a little smarter...

This fight is by no means a scratch on Gamboa...he wins against anyone else tonight. He might need to drop to 126 but if he can't, I don't see anyone else who can beat him; the guy still has one hell of a career in front on him.

Thats crap though, 1 loss should never mean a fighters career is over he just got beat by the better man!! Dont buy in to what the commentators say, roy jones should have retired a long time ago, now hes fighting in sum tourney??? Cmon man

Maybe he will fight on but you know I don't even think it's about the record let's just take a look at the career in whole. It hasn't been a good one. Overall. From the steroid allegations to arrests. I just don't know If his heart still in it If it was he know's he should be fighting at 130 not 135 Okay for this 1 title shot but we'll see where it goes now he's running out of time and no one wants to fight.....

Gamboa **** the bed. He was owning Crawford at the beginning.

There was no owning of Crawford. Gamboa was fighting well till Crawford figured him out and starting timing the rushes and because Crawford is technically more sound over Gamboa's athleticism, technique won out. Doesn't mean Gamboa is not a top fighter.....he has a lot of abilities and still has some time in the sport to do some thing if he gets busier and more dedicated. Both gave all they had....appreciate that.

No I don't think Lucas or Prov cracking 1m I think Matthyese got like 900k for Garcia an that was a pretty big fight!

I just scanned a few more sites and I really believe Gamboa made more fans in this defeat than he ever made in anyb of his wins. The stardom of both of these guys grew tonight and in Gamboas case I hope SMS knows what to do with him next and if they dont then they should let him go elsewhere. I know Crawford should be headed for another big fight. Let's not forget that if alot of people tuned in for this fight that it was definately not for the undercard fight and it certainly wasnt just because of Crawford. Fight fans want to see Gamboa fight. He has always been exciting and fan friendly.

I hear ya, but his outside problems should'nt diminish what hes done in his career. He has beaten alot of good fighters in a 24 fight career more then what alot of guys has done going on past 30 pr fights... and after tonite i see alot of fighters from 135 and under thinking they could do the same against gamboa... i think juan diaz and gamboa would be a hell of a fight, remember. Styles makes fights!

Gamboa is a throwback fighter!! Much respect to the guy he is a ***en warrior!
