What serious contedner in the Super Middleweight division has Joe avoided? Who mother****er?

Ottke fought better opposition? Actually they have fought many of the same guys like Staire, Brewer, Reid, Podwill, Mitchell etc.

Hmmm, I believe many boxing experts (not me I never saw Ottke fight these folks) scream about the Split decisions that were awarded to him twice against Charles Brewer and once against Mitchell. You obviously scored all three fights for Ottke right?

In terms of comapring the two not many fighters make it to the final bell with Joe (see his record for proof) and just about everybody makes it to the final bell with Ottke, am I wrong here?

Joe beat both men in much much much more convincing fashion, did he or did he not?

Sure I'll bet ya, do I have to have a billion to bet cuz I dont.

Lacy is bad for the sport, he's juiced up to the gills on steroids and is your typical over-hyped American fighter (ala Samuel Peter, but even worse than Peter).

Calzaghe has been avoided by Jones Jr for 10 years and Hopkins for five years, but has beaten everybody put in front of him and every true boxing fan will be rooting for him against Lacy.

Calzaghe is a clean sportsman who doesn't used steroids, and was always a private, family man who kept himself to himself - he's even still training in his dad's shed!

I don't for one second think that Calzaghe can last one round with Lacy, what with Calzaghe being about a shadow of his former self in his last three fights and so weight-drained, but every true boxing fan will be hoping for Calzaghe to pull off the huge upset against the 168lb version of a prime Mike Tyson.

Okay. For one, Joe (IMHO) is a much better and experienced fighter. Has fought more tougher opponants than Lacy. His southpaw stance will also (I'm very very sure) cause Lacy difficulties. The crowd will also play an important factor and will drive Joe on if (and they will I'm sure) go toe to toe. I also just think alot (though not all) of people see Lacy winning simply because he looks quiet built.

Joe sees this as the fight he has been waiting for all his life and he wont **** it up. He wont. I just know it.

I agree that the left-handed stance could be a huge factor.

                Good stuff, thanks.
