My problem is that he's a guy who's been quite prominent for ages, & this is really the first time I can think of him taking a fight of this caliber.

You can say it was this & that which prevented him from stepping up, but I don't buy it. Too much time.

Calzaghe got knocked out by an Out of Prime Byron Mitchell and Journeyman Kabary Salem.

I've always rooted for Jeff Lacy what makes you think its going to be an different.

I have watched Lacy since his 7th Professional fight, till now, probably the oldest lacy fan.

Lacy wins by TKO or UD and Calzaghe hits the Canvass atleast twice, Think about it Calzaghe is Old and out of his Prime, Lacy is younger, More powerful and faster.

Outside of the ring your right-too much time has elapsed without a major fight...it sucks epsecially for a disp**** like me is always defedning him...hell Showtime has gotten fed up with it too not televsing his last 3 or 4 fights.

If you dont go internet searching as of late you just dont get to see Joe anymore.

              BUT...

When he is in the ring he is an animal that is pretty damn unique to the sport, I cant think of a fighter that resembles Joe!

I've known of Lacy since the Olympic Trials. He beat a fighter who was in the same gym I went to, in the finals- Randy Griffin.

Either way Lacy is the best, Some people are have moved to the Lacy bandwagon, but they were few of us from the start like me and raesaad.
