Maidana-Mayweather 2 = great fight IMO, 50/50 really I'd say.. I gave Mayweather jr easy victory before first fight and was wrong as Hell so hope it happens and this time I'm calling even steven..

Mayweathers options are slim for September. Maidana tops the list. Khans not fighting him, manny won't happen. Porter has Brook and Thurman isn't deserving yet. Garcia looks like he will be fighting in August plus he looked bad against Herrera. Cotto is waiting out to fight Canelo this year. I don't see many options unless Mayweather steps up and fights Quillin at middleweight which would be intriguing and a fight that would sell because it's dangerous. I would favor Floyd in that one.

I wonder how much extra Mayweather paid him to wear the pillow gloves, must've been a lot.

Maidana won the first fight. If Floyd wants to erase the blemish he needs to sign for a rematch.

I say he is. Thurman has earned his shot at the big names a long time ago.

The governing organization known as Floyd Mayweather Jr will make an official decision on who the opponent will be when he returns to the ring on September 13.
After that decision is made, the other governing organizations will no doubt be informed immediately if one their mandatory challengers has been selected.
