If Pac blows through higher divisions and then notable HWs, yeah why not? He technically doesn't have to meet any weight requirement to fight at HW as it is unlimited class.

He low balled Pryor by offering him a career high pay day?

while there's no official minimum weight for the divisions most of the commissions have a minimum weight for safety reasons I believe. so might make it hard.

Yet, casuals will assume Floyd will be the first to ever do it... lol

Mayweather wants to make history, then fight Cotto for the 160 belt at 154, so he defends his 154 belt as well. That is epic in its own right. If he beats Cotto then he can go fight at 147 and put all 3 belts on the line. I don't think that has been done before. The perfect opponent in my mind in that situation would be Pac but we know that won't happen.

                  Mayweather fighting Lara... Keep dreaming.

How is he gonna do this? GB has the MGM on hold for Sept 13th and Mayweather isn't gonna do business with them.

LOL I love how Floyd fans all of sudden don't mind catch weights...all of sudden when Floyd started doing it after Pacquiao whom they killed for doing it lol...

Basically Floyd will be fighting at 147 and forcing his opponent to fight at 147 also... which is a huge catch weight for a 154 pound fight...

This is just a disguised catch weight fight for the 154 pound title... and a lame attempt at trying to act like Floyd is accomplishing something..it's just a gimmick to sell the fight...

This is not historical and no one with half of a brain will care about this kind of "achievement" it's meaningless...it's a Welterweight fight essentially...

An accomplishment would have been moving up to Middleweight and trying to win a 6th title..then Floyd would only be two behind Manny...

Are you serious LOL? Might be the most naïve comment ever LOL...you're probably the same dude who cries about catch weights...

Floyd is just having a Welterweight fight nothing more...it's a way for Floyd to present a gimmick, hold on to a title without actually having to actually fight at 154... nothing more than that...there is nothing epic about it... just stop seriously LOL...
