WTF is wrong with that ?

So he can't beat the best in the world anymore, it doesn't mean he should retire automatically.

He should not have came back against a guy like Cotto unless his knees were properly tested. Simple as that.

God please retire, it was shameful to watch this fight yesterday, taking nothing away from Cotto but all these so called boxingfans elevating Cotto to superstardom by defeating a 39 year old shot injured Martinez who stumbled over his own legs.

It doesnt make alot of sense: Cotto the best ever, lineal middleweight champ yadda yadda! And when you ask them how would Cotto fare against someone like Golovkin, who is "just another" middleweight? Silence. Excuses. You know it yourself what happened yesterday. They tricked us, took our money, made us believe 39 year old Sergio, after countless operations is magically10 years younger again without any issues.

Oh Okay...Cotto is the best in the world now. Despite getting thoroughly outboxed by featherfists Austin Trout at 154.

It's so obvious Martinez was just cashing out on a Cotto fight. If he actually wanted any chance of winning he would of atleast taken a tune up fight after the 14 month layoff.

BUt they knew anybody would of embarrassed a Martinez with a bum knee so they went straight for the Cotto money.

You don't turn down that type of money.

Sergio has been chasing Cotto, Mayweather and Pacquaio for years. Only Cotto stepped up when he knew there was a chance he could win because of the injuries/inactivity.

This. Martinez is done. He got his last pay day, now he should retire. He was dragging his leg, the guy couldn't even throw a punch without losing his balance.

He shouldn't have to make a decision. No commission worth a **** should license him to fight.

He has no choice. The guy couldn't move. Couldn't even shift his weight enough to properly slip punches.

Retire Sergio, last night was difficult to watch.

He can't move, doesn't have any bounce, can't get power on his punches....the injuries have taken everything from him. He took one last pay day despite knowing he had nothing.
