Ward just needs to sort his career out and fight, he is a bigger diva than Mariah Carey.
Doesn't change the fact that team GGG claimed they were willing to fight anyone from 154-168. When Ward and Lara answered they call the story changed.

GGG wants to clean out 160lbs? Was the Chavez Jr fight slated for 160?

Sure seems like team GGG wants to make a lot of noise praying no quality fighters accept the challenge

I heard that Soliman is interested in fighting Golovkin, maybe that could happen after GGG/Geale.
Yea, I see that as PlanC. They're going to target JCC Jr and Cotto. If those fall apart, they'll target Solimon

Yeah, this is Golovkin's best ever professional opponent. Ring ranked #2, TBR ranked #4.

It's hard to criticise that too much.

It Doesn't matter.... people weren't going to give him credit for anybody he beat.

I have not seen a name of anybody in the MW division people would've given him credit for beating....and yet he's still a hpetrain

Geale is a top middleweight, former champ, possibly top 5 in the division but definitely top 7 or 8.

Murray, martinez, Sturm, Quillin ... none of them would fight him so...

it's not GGG's fault that these guys wouldn't fight him, so he has only 3 options after that.
            1. Sit on his hands and do nothing,
            2. Move up in weight,
            3. Fight the best available guy at 160.

            He chose option 3
Yea i agree with this. I think i understand what the poster is saying though. Golovkin won't be truly challenged unless he moves up to smw.

Let's look at the names capable of fighting him at MW (or catchweight):

Canelo, Andrade, Lara, Murray, Quillin, Cotto, Kirkland, Sturm, Soliman, Geale.

Personally, I think he should fight some of those before moving up, Golovkin is a middleweight and not a particularly big one.

Just to let you douchebags know…Geale was the legit WBA champion. He beat Sturm is Germany. He also beat Sylvester for the IBF title.

He has fought/beat higher quality opposition than GGG. So if you base it on resume, then clearly Geale is the better fighter.

You Americans really are dumb. Glad the rest of the world agrees with me. F***ng yanks

To show me, you and the world a GGG stoppage. He's the Andre Ward of the middleweight division meaning he doesn't need to fight anybody to prove he IS no.1. Sergio Martinez was the one fight out there but we all know how that goes...

Ward already fought everybody though, Golovkin hasn't yet had the chance which is why you get people asking "who has he beat?"

Now, if he wins, he'll put the best professional win on his resume.

I started this thread and I'm British so I don't know why you got all xenophobic there?

There are a lot of fighters that 'were' champions. My point is he lost to Darren barker and hasn't been heard of since. Apparently he won a tune-up in his backyard. I don't want to repeat what I've said in all my posts in this thread already, I just hope his team genuinely pursues a big fight next.
